Bankers without Borders™ (BwB) is Grameen Foundation’s 16-year old executive volunteer initiative, providing a vast network of over 26,500 global experts deployed to address the challenges faced by agri- businesses, Farmer Field Organizations (FFOs), Financial Service Providers (FSPs) and social businesses working in the agricultural and financial services sectors globally.

Since 2008, BwB has recruited more than 26,500 volunteer consultants from over 170 countries, including 10,000 U.S. volunteers from diverse fields like banking, finance, technology, marketing, consulting, and research, who speak over 12 languages. BwB connects talent from the private sector and higher education institutions to increase the scale, sustainability, and impact of poverty-focused social and pro-poor enterprises.

To date, BwB has provided over $30.3 million in pro bono services to more than 380 social enterprise clients in 48 countries.
