Grameen Foundation’s strategy, Invest in HER Power is rooted in our Holistic, Economic Resilience (HER) Framework and connects women and families to tailored financial services, training, and the resources needed to move 10 million women and their families out of poverty by 2030.

Our Goal: Deepen impact through innovative and locally-led programming to move 10 million women and their families out of poverty permanently.

AcceleHERate: Build sustainable and viable livelihood paths for three million young women as mobile money agents.
InvestHER: Increase sustainable income for three million women entrepreneurs and their families.
TogetHER, We Grow: Increase climate change adaptability for three million women farmers.
Program SAFE: Protect women and other vulnerable people from financial abuse.
Sparks for Change: Engage spouses in developing strategies for financial management, balancing household labor, and shared goals.

Holistic, Economic Resilience (HER): Our Framework For Change

Goal: By 2030, HER will connect 10 million women and their families to the holistic support needed to leave poverty forever.

HER is a five-step, innovative and scalable solution to strengthening families and economies.

Step 1: Identify community agents, financial partners, and local leaders.
Step 2: Work at the household level to ensure families have tailored and customized training, resources, and in some cases, financing.
Step 3: Leverage education, AI, and smart tech to provide the skills needed to grow or launch a business.
Step 4: Deepen access to SAFE financial services and our network of partners who provide capital with reduced interest rates to ensure long-term success.
Step 5: Troubleshoot any challenges or roadblocks that hinder families from leaving poverty forever. Ultimately, leading to the removal of Grameen from the process as families and economies grow stronger on their own.
