Now in its third year of implementation, BELUU is thrilled to announce the second batch of Innovation Grant winners under the program! The six Innovation Grantees, from Palau, Tuvalu, the Marshall Islands, and Nauru, shall be provided with financial and technical assistance to initiate or scale projects to drive Women’s Economic Empowerment (WEE) and advance the Blue and Green economies in the Pacific region.
Grameen shall provide technical assistance, to enhance the grantees’ capacity to navigate and succeed in local business environments. This support includes facilitation of improved networks, knowledge exchange, market access, and close mentorship for both BELUU Innovation Grantees and the program’s broader stakeholder community.
Grameen’s Bankers Without Borders network shall provide project support through its roster of executive and professional volunteers, while the Digital Exchange Empowering the Pacific Region (DEEPR) platform shall serve as an online resource hub for available technical resources, tools, references, and best practices tailored to the Pacific region.
