Legacy Gift Options

Wills and Living Trusts

Create your legacy of ending poverty and empowering women by leaving funds to Grameen Foundation in your will. With a living trust, you can ensure flexibility in the amount in the event your circumstances change.

Donor-Advised Fund

A donor-advised fund is like a charitable savings account. It gives you the flexibility to recommend the amount and frequency of money granted to Grameen Foundation. You can also create your legacy of helping end poverty by naming Grameen Foundation as the beneficiary of all or part of the fund.

Appreciated Securities

If securities and mutual funds have increased in value and have been held for more than a year, they make an attractive gift option. You can support Grameen Foundation’s mission of ending poverty while reducing or potentially eliminating capital gains taxes on the gift transfer.

IRA Charitable Rollovers

If you are 70.5 years of age or older, you can give up to $100,000 from your IRA directly to Grameen Foundation without paying income tax. In addition to the tax benefits, you’ll be able to see the immediate impact of your gift.
