Grameen Foundation and the AgriPath Provide Sustainable Agriculture Practices

Posted on 04/30/2024

Grameen Foundation and AgriPath are working with women farmers to build resilience against climate change.

We celebrate female extension agents like Alka Kumari, who are embracing digital platforms to catalyze the adoption of sustainable agricultural practices, increase productivity, and build resilience.

AgriPath is a five year (2021-2026) applied-research project that aims to identify, evaluate, and scale inclusive pathways for Digital Advisory Services (DAS). Providing country-specific knowledge of smallholder farmers’ adoption of digital advisory services, with a focus on understanding and navigating critical enablers and barriers to adoption of DAS by women farmers.

AgriPath is jointly funded by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) and the GIZ fund for the Promotion of Innovation in Agriculture (i4Ag) through the Centre for Development and Environment (CDE), University of Bern.

Empower smallholder farmers to lift themselves out of poverty.
