Zubaida Bai joined Grameen Foundation in November 2022 as its new President and CEO. She is the first woman and the first Indian American to lead the organization. She is also the co-founder of ayzh, Inc., a social venture that provides sanitary maternal and menstrual products to women and girls in India. Zubaida came to Grameen from CARE, where she was Director of Social Ventures.

"Eighteen years ago, I moved to the United States to complete my MBA program. I came with my husband, my two-year-old son, and a dream: to work towards making the lives of women, like those I’d grown up with in India, better," she said.
