Regional Director, Asia and the Pacific

Christine is a development professional with more than a decade of experience managing social programs related to innovations for agriculture, women economic empowerment and financial inclusion that achieve impact and results. She is responsible for strengthening the pipeline for strategic collaborations to design solutions that serve vulnerable groups and the last mile. Christine has a deep understanding of the Human Centered Design approach for strategic planning and promotion of advocacy. She enjoys engaging with various stakeholders while serving as an effective public speaker or mentor-trainer for adult education. Prior to Grameen, Christine spent two years engaging with her family-owned rice mill in Nueva Ecija, Philippines. Her passion for regional integration was further strengthened through her participation as Executive Director of the working committee for the APEC Voices of the Future 2015 Program in Manila. After graduation, she worked for World Youth Alliance focusing on promoting human dignity through policy, educational programs and cultural events. Christine holds a Master's Degree in Development Economics from the University of the Philippines Diliman and a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Development Studies from De La Salle University Manila.
