Alison Bardsley

Director of Program Quality

Alison Bardsley oversees the quality implementation of the Grameen Foundation global project portfolio across Africa, Asia and Latin America. She leads the establishment and implementation of effective processes, systems, and tools to ensure quality program performance including the design, development and delivery of Grameen’s impact monitoring system. A passionate and dedicated advocate for women’s economic empowerment and gender equity, Alison also acts as a project manager and technical assistance lead for Grameen’s women’s economic empowerment projects and provides adult education design expertise for Grameen’s curriculum products for adults, especially women, with a wide range of literacy levels and cultural backgrounds.

Before Grameen, Alison joined Freedom from Hunger in 2013 as a research volunteer seeking to make a social impact in financial services for the world’s poor after 13 years of financial and economic consulting involving tort litigation. Alison has a B.A. in finance from the David Eccles School of Business at the University of Utah. Alison loves living in the northern Utah mountains where she skis, bikes, and runs with her husband and four children.
