On November 5, 2015, Grameen Foundation’s supporters, partners, and employees from around the world will gather in Washington, DC to celebrate our founder, Alex Counts, who is stepping down after 18 years as president and CEO.

Since starting Grameen Foundation with a $6,000 grant from Nobel Peace Prize Laureate Muhammad Yunus in 1997, Alex, along with staff and partners, built Grameen Foundation into a global leader of technology-based innovations for the poor.

We hope you agree that there is no better way to celebrate the achievements of Alex and the Grameen Foundation than to raise funds so that we can enable more people to begin their journey out of poverty.
