Kate Marshall leads Grameen Foundation’s global financial operations. She has more than 20 years of experience leading the finance and operations of non-profit organizations. Most recently, as Director of Finance, Kate led the D.C. Bar's financial operations and moved the organization from a $33 million budget to a $38 million operating budget and a $52 million capital budget. Prior to the D.C. Bar, Kate served as the Director of Finance of the Pew Charitable Trusts, a global nonprofit organization focused on improving the environment, health, and access to information. Earlier, Kate served as chief financial officer of B'nai B'rith International, National Parks Conservation Association, and African Wildlife Foundation. In those positions, Kate oversaw global finances and operations, and as such she was responsible for all aspects of the organizations' finances in support of the organizations' values and missions. In the course of her career, Kate has guided organizations through both high growth and readjustment. She specializes in strengthening organizations and improving compliance.
Kate began her career at the firm now known as Price Waterhouse Coopers.
Kate has an MBA from Georgetown University and a BA from Carleton College. Kate is a licensed CPA in Maryland.
