Chief Executive Officer, Grameen Foundation India

Prabhat is a seasoned international development professional with more than 25 years of experience in leading livelihoods, financial inclusion and enterprise development initiatives. As CEO of Grameen Foundation India, Prabhat designed and implemented strategic initiatives to expand and diversify its programs in multiple domains and established it as a partner of choice for leading global donors. Prabhat is also co-founder and Managing Director of Grameen Impact Ventures, a social business that creates self employment for women in rural areas and brings valuable financial and livelihoods services to low income people.

Prabhat has lived and worked across Asia, Africa, and North America, and worked in partnership with leading banks, NGOs, UN agencies and fintech companies towards the objective of bringing accessible, affordable, and appropriate financial services low income populations. Prabhat is an alumnus of the Indian Institute of Forest Management, and has undergone specialized training programs at Harvard Business School, Southern New Hampshire University and at the International Training Centre of ILO.
