Chief Finance Officer

Minette Gutierrez is Grameen Foundation’s Chief Finance Officer, and is responsible for providing the Board, President/CEO, and department managers with the financial information needed to make sound management decisions regarding the short, medium and long-term direction of GFUSA. This involves the production of complete, timely, and accurate budgets and financial reports, as well as the analysis and interpretation of the same, together with recommendations on available options and strategies for strengthening the overall financial position of GF USA. Responsibilities also include the management of the organization’s assets; the establishment, enforcement and regular updating of financial policies and controls; accounting and financial reporting; and managing GF USA’s operations.

Minette has over 25 years of experience in non-profit sector in various roles as an external and internal auditor, global operations improvement manager, grants and contracts manager and prior to joining GF USA, as CARE’s Deputy Regional Director for Latin American and the Caribbean responsible for the oversight of and support to country offices in the areas of human resources, information technology and administration (procurement, inventory, property management), and strategic financial management.
